Summer is hard. Heat and humidity is hard. Keeping you hair tame during all of that nonsense? You know, sweating, doing and redoing pony tails and buns over and over again to keep those straggly strands off of your face? So. Freaking Hard.
While you may be one of those badass babes who braves the heat and continues to wear your hair down during these sweltering months (we seriously commend you), not all of us have the time or the patience to tame the mess that the humidity has left our hair with. We rounded up a few hairstyles you can rock this summer that’ll turn heads AND save you the time and energy of dealing with heated hair tools.
Space buns are one of our favorite summer hair trends because not only does it keep your hair up and away from your face, but it does so in a way that’s fun and different from your average bun. Want to spice it up even more? Try adding some glitter to the roots to out-glow the summer sun!
PONY, WITH A TWIST!
Another quick summer fix is the sleek high-pony—but why not add a twist? Wrapping a semi-thick section of hair from your pony around the hair-tie adds a bit of intrigue and sass to the look. Don’t have enough of your own hair to pull off this look? Try Hairdo’s 23” Color-Splash Pony (bonus: it’s super easy to put in AND you have a variety of fun colors to chose from for that balayage!)
ROSIE THE RIVETER
All you need for this ‘do is your beautiful self and a bandana (or headband)! Part your hair to the side of your choosing, pin back a section to give yourself a little bit of volume in the front, tie up the back with a hair-tie, and throw on that bandana! This classic retro look is both cool and timeless.

Braiders, listen up! This one’s for you. Elevate that braided ‘do simply by changing the placement of it. We love this braided mohawk look that has been becoming more and more popular with instagram it girls and everyday goddesses alike.
SPACE BUN BRAID HAWK LOVE CHILD
Yup, why not have the best of both? We love both of these styles so much, we want to combine them both. This is definitely a look we are going to utilize this summer—how about you?
